Nine photographs are laid out casually on the table, and the spiritualist explains that these people were put under observation by the government in Victorian England because they were reputed to have had psychic powers. Eight of them died peacefully and are now at rest, but one of them died a sad, violent death and is a Restless Spirit... constantly looking for justice or the light, who can tell?? The spiritualist turns his back on the nine photographs. The group choose a person that they are drawn to and an old English coin is placed on their photograph. They have a totally free choice of where they place the coin. The unknown spirit now connects with the spectators through the spiritalist, questions are asked, guidance is given. Slowly but surely the restless spirit calls out, the spectators freely move around the cards, gradually taking photographs away until only one remains. The spiritualist now turns to see the chosen photograph. The black envelope is opened revealing a matching prediction telling the victim's sad story. You have your back turned throughout the effect. You have no idea which person was chosen as a starting point. This effect is so easy to perform with no awkward moves or funny handling. Cards are laid out in front of the audience and they make a free choice each time. A clever method makes this a real fooler.
