Zodiac Surprise

Five envelopes with coloured spots are placed on the table, you explain that you will come back to them in a moment. A deck of cards is brought out and a card is chosen by your spectator and lost in the pack.

You tell the audience that you will use the stars to help you find his card and then you show a large chart with the Zodiacs and months of the year on it. The spectator is asked for the month he was born in, and if he wants he can lie to try and fool you. The chart is now turned around to show 12 coloured circles, one for each month of the year. You count along the circles until you come to the one corresponding to the named month (eg for April, the 4th month, you would count to the 4th circle) and note the colour. The spectator is now directed to the envelopes on the table and asked to open the one with a spot matching the colour of his month. Inside he finds a duplicate of his chosen card.

As a finale you ask him if he lied about his birth month - whatever he replies you say what a shame he didn't choose another month, you then open all the other envelopes which all have money inside.

So easy to perform with the laminated chart supplied, you only need to concentrate on your presentation. Works with any pack of cards (playing cards not included).
